A challenging opening hole by any standard. With a blind hazard left and out of bounds right a good 1st tee shot is essential.  A three shot hole for all but the very long.  A par 5 here is a great start.

A straight away par 4 that plays longer than the yardage, as most tee shots land into a slight upslope. Favor the left side as the fairway slopes slightly right towards bunkers and a boundary fence.

Hole #4

Long hitters may want to take on the bunkers left to shorten this dogleg par 4. The fairway is wider to the right of the bunkers but play slightly longer. The green has 3 distinct sections. Play your approach shot to the right section for a birdie opportunity and to avoid a 3 putt.

A tight par 5 that bends slightly to the right. Definitely reachable in 2 for some and a birdie opportunity for all with a solid approach shot.

The elevated tee shot on this dogleg left par 4 is one of the most difficult on the course. Bunkers right, trees on the left and a narrowing fairway at the corner require an accurate drive. The green is also one of the hardest to read on the course.

This short and tight par 4 requires an accurate tee shot. Many play less than driver at the new fairway bunker. The 2 tiered green is narrow in the front half and bunkered steeply on both sides.

Don't forget to take in the beautiful view of Mt. Hood on a clear day from this elevated tee box. The hole descends over 60 feet from tee to green. The well bunkered green slopes from front to back and often fools even those who know better with it's speed.

A downhill par 4 with out of bounds all along the right side. For many the second will be a blind shot that continues down hill to a green bunkered on all sides.

A sharp dogleg right par 5. Very reachable in two for those who can move the ball from left to right around the corner. Birdie or even eagle is a real possibility here. The elevated green is shallow and does not easily hold shots.

A difficult par 3. Bunkers short right and on the left demand an accurate shot with a long iron or metal wood. A steep slope to the right of the green provides additional apprehension on the tee. The back left pin on this hole is particularly difficult.

A classic par 4 with one of the five original Chandler Egan designed greens. The subtle slopes on this green are not obvious but can be as treacherous as any on the golf course.

The fairway on this uphill par 4 slopes significantly from left to right. Favor the left side to keep your ball in the fairway. The second shot plays uphill and longer than the yardage. Play an extra club to avoid the deep bunker guarding the front of the green.

This uphill par 3 has 3 separate tiers that are not visible from the tee. The lower tier has a false front as well. Get your distance right to be on the right level.

Hole #15

Par 4 | Handicap (M): 2   (W): 10

This starts the downhill stretch to the finish from the highest point on the course. It offers a beautiful panorama of the area with views of Mt. St. Helen, Mt. Adams & Mt. Hood. An early cross bunker frames the fairway. Most good drives are still left with a downhill shot off of a slight downhill lie. The front half of this unique green is away from the approach and to the left, while the back half of the green is guarded by a large challenging ridge that runs across the middle of the green. Three putts are not uncommon on this challenging green.

This hole starts with a welcoming tee shot to a fairway that funnels to the center from both sides. The green angles away to the right and is well guarded by bunkers on both the right and the left. Avoid the back left bunker as it is a difficult up and down.

Hole #17

A downhill par three to a green with three distinct sections, front, middle and back. The green is well bunkered on all sides and there is a sever drop off to the right of the green. As with the 16th hole avoid the left bunker as this green runs away from left to right as well as slightly from front to back.

A great risk reward par 5. This hole provides the opportunity for an exciting finish to your round. There is water left off the tee and right on the second and third shots. The slight dogleg left after the drive brings the water even more into play. This final hole finishes with one of the 5 original Chandler Egan designed greens. The deep pin placement on a tiny back shelf is the most challenging spot on the green.
